Introduction

Based in the Daintree Rainforest of Tropical North Queensland, we are a family run business using techniques handed down through generations of vanilla growers.

Since beginning as a hobby 18 years ago, Daintree Vanilla has built up a root stock and the venture has grown to become one of the first commercial growers and producers of Vanilla Beans in Australia. Our organically grown Vanilla Planifolia is the premium quality species of vanilla with higher vanillin content than it's counterparts and delicious flavour.

Currently 100% of Vanilla Beans are being imported into Australia. The Australian industry is still being created and we are at the forefront of establishing a market for Australian grown and produced vanilla beans.

We have been working closely with the University of Western Sydney, who have tested our vanilla beans and processes. The results of these tests show that our beans prove to be of superior quality than what is currently being imported into Australia.

When you buy from Daintree Vanilla & Spice - that is, direct from the grower - there is no middleman involved, which allows us to maintain the integrity of our products, passing on all the benefits of being fully involved in every step of the process on to our customers.
